Silves is preparing for the 9th edition of the Orange Capital Exhibition.
The city of Silves is once again establishing itself as a national reference in citrus cultivation with the 9th edition of the Silves Orange Capital Exhibition, taking place from February 14 to 16, 2025, at FISSUL. The event features performances by Carminho, Os Quatro e Meia, and Rouxinol Faduncho, in a program that combines culture, gastronomy, and discussions on challenges in the agricultural sector.
Event Highlights The Silves Orange Capital Fair brings together dozens of exhibitors and producers from the citrus sector, as well as local associations and regional organizations. Over three days, you can taste and buy regional products, wines, sweets, handicrafts, and of course, the iconic Silves orange. The event officially kicks off on February 14 at 10:30 AM with the Orange XXI Conference, which this year focuses on the theme “The Water That Connects,” addressing water challenges in agriculture and the sustainable management of water resources. Throughout the weekend, the event also offers seminars, competitions, and debates of interest to the agricultural and business sectors.
Music and Tradition in the Spotlight The Silves Orange Capital Showcase isn’t limited to the agricultural sector and also offers a varied music program.

In addition to the concerts, there are traditional dance performances, activities for children, and the iconic Valentine’s Day March, an event that has already earned a permanent spot on the cultural calendar. Weekend with the Taste of Oranges Simultaneously with the showcase, the 9th edition of the Weekend with the Taste of Oranges takes place from February 13 to 16. Participating restaurants in Silves present innovative dishes with Silves oranges as the main ingredient.
